Therapy

All services are offered in-person in the comfort of your home, child’s school or via teletherapy.
There is no travel fee for in-person services for clients living in Summerland, Montecito, Santa Barbara or Goleta, CA.
Contact us to inquire about travel fees outside of those areas.

Teletherapy is another convenient option and is offered for most clients living in California, Arizona, and Washington states.
If your state is not listed and you are interested in teletherapy, please send us an email.

Speech and/or Language & Literacy

Most clients benefit from a weekly 45-minute session. However, 30-minute sessions can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. The last 5 minutes of each session are devoted to discussing what was worked on during the session as well as practice suggestions and/or homework.

ADHD Coaching

ADHD coaching is practical intervention that specifically targets the core impacts of ADHD on executive functioning areas such as planning, time management, goal setting, organization, and problem-solving. SLPs are uniquely qualified to support individuals with ADHD due to their training in executive functioning skills and neuroanatomy throughout the lifespan. Coaching is offered to children, adolescents, college students, and adults. Coaching programs for children and adolescents may need to focus on working simultaneously with parents so parents can better understand and help their child cope with challenges from ADHD.

Gender Affirming Voice Therapy

Gender affirming voice therapy is a specialized type of speech therapy that helps transgender and non-binary people modify their voices and communication patterns to match their gender identity. Voice therapy can help people change their vocal characteristics like pitch, resonance, intonation, rhythm, rate, and volume. Voice therapy can also help people improve non-verbal communication skills like hand gestures, facial expressions, body posture, and, as valued by each client, eye contact.
